First Aid Certified
Well, it’s almost official (I have the certificate but not the email from St. John Ambulance. That’ll be in a few days.). I have my Level B first aid certification with CPR/AED endorsement. So does my co-worker, Steve. I learned the hard way that my friend’s knee problems are not to be laughed at or mocked in any way. I spent most of the time this weekend on my knees doing CPR/AED, splints and all manner of other first aid related things and my knees are letting me know that that’s not an acceptable position for me to be in.
I did learn something, though. I’m usually wearing a bunnyhug. I should take that off and use it to pad my knees before I get down on both knees. Hindsight, of course, is 20/20.
