Whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the slings of outrageous story ideas or to finish up projects that need to be mailed out for Christmas. Plus I need to finish up a tree decoration for the Creative Stitchers Guild, finish up some other Christmas presents that need to go in the box with the projects I’ve been working on for the last few weeks.
Actually, I have managed to do some writing. Not much, mind you, and not necessarily on Book 4, but it’s been writing nonetheless. I’m just about finished chapter 14 of Book 4 and I added another memory to Rigger Mortis. The main problem with writing an autobiographical novel is that I never kept a record of what happened when while I was in the military. I was too busy ‘doing’ to be worried about ‘recording’. Which means, of course, that some of the memories I have of the military are in the wrong years. I’ve been shuffling what I have written around and adding things as I think of them. I haven’t done much, but enough to say I’ve been writing almost daily.
Shandy called this morning and I finally have a current email address for her. I sent her the first three books. It won’t last long, but it’ll keep her out of trouble for a few minutes, anyway. 😉
