Running a chat is going to be interesting.
I haven’t run a chat in a number of years, mostly because I can’t type accurately and I’m a bit fussy when it comes to what I write.
I can probably type about 80 wpm forward, but only 60 or so because I back space a great deal. I touch-type, which means I use all ten fingers and I’m practised enough that I don’t have to watch my fingers as I type. Assuming, of course, that I put my fingers on the right starting keys. That’s where I often fall down. Yes, I know there are two little bumps on the F and J keys to show me where to put my index fingers, but I don’t always remember to feel for them. So, if I’m not paying attention to what I’m doing in a chat, I end up writing dp,ryjomh ;olr yjod/
Makes it a bit hard to get my point across, I think. 😉
